Lost in Space and Time

Zeitgeist S04E07: End of the Line

The group returned to the city of Sid Minos, and tried to find where the Obscurati agents were having their meeting. They had figured out that there was some kind of mystical train network that the group was using to teleport and transport things around. After going to the end of the line, the investigators found a strange train station in an intradimensional space. And there, the Obscurati were having a meeting.

With them was Verzublack Tantalovich, the dwarrow cardsharp and gambler, Damata Griento (the canine wildfolk who’d been Ejeka’s husband) and several assassins.

The young wildfolk boy, Darro, appeared to be leading the discussion as he paced around and smoked a cigarette. What exactly was going on? Robert believed that Darro was possessed, and recalled he had seen a strange man, smoking heavily, while visiting Rory Macbannin, the alleged guardian of Cauldron Hill. The body language was similar.

The Bloodstone Vigil attacked the Obscurati. After a vicious combat, Verzublack escaped, and the person possessing Darro left. All that they knew was that the Obscurati's plan was coming to fruition… soon. At least they had, on their voyage, learned more about their enemy and exposed the inner workings of their operation.

The investigators eluded the Arachkaen coastguard and returned to Flint. The young boy, Darro, didn't know what had happened to his brother, and was upset that he had been used as a pawn. He had liked being part of a family. Sora used her contacts to find a good foster home for him, and the Bloodstone Vigil decided to spend their downtime reviewing all that they had learned to date, pondering where to strike the Obscurati next.

Uncomfortable with the revelations he'd learned about his mother, Tal'zahr decided to confront her about the secrets she was withholding from him...
