Zeitgeist S01E01: The Death at the Consulate

Newly appointed members of the Bloodstone Vigil meet at the Vigil Headquarters in the Central District of Flint. These are:

When they arrived, Doctor Vokharis, a tiefling inventor had unveiled the new creation, an automaton capable of acting as an ivestigatigator. Mickey names the automaton Robert, until he could think of a better one.

Then a case came in - a person found murdered near the #Arachkaen Consulate. There was a woman impaled on the iron palings. The group investigated and found the following:

That she was employed as Sally Wingate, but was really +Nilasa Hume, a thief.

She'd stolen some papers from the consulate, and drunk a potion of flying. She'd flown out the window, but been shot by the ^Arachkaens, and got impaled. Later, she'd been healed with clerical magic post-mortem to disguise the gunshot wounds. +LeBree later clarified that the Arachkaens didn't want to be accused of murdering an Imperial Citizen on Flint's soil. They had also interfered with the corpse to remove lock picks from it.

Human had been working at the consulate as a servant for some time. She had a boyfriend, Braden, and often hung out with him at the Thinking Man's Tavern, a popular docker hangout.

She'd been seen talking to a human doctor in the foyer earlier.

Sora investigated a dwarven man called Bricks in the crowd, who claimed he'd seen Hume getting impaled. She took a statement from him and gathered his address.

Hume had a bail documents in her pockets and a receipt for alchemical equipment.

Cab drivers witnessed Bricks running to the body, removing some documents and a yellow pendant, and running to an alleyway. Blood in the alley confirmed a fight with a man dressed a doctor, who got into a cab and drove away.

Runners sent to the Parity Lake police stations confirmed that the addressed Bricks provided was false.
