Zeitgeist S02E04 to 5: The Island at the Axis of the World
With Shadow Team Six dead, the Bloodstone Vigil had to undertake the mission themselves. After travelling through the island, they uncovered some strange architecture belonging to the ^Precursors. They emerged on the island and found the fortress, infiltrating it using their scrolls of Passwall. There, they found a terrorist group in control of the island, who were using prisoners to dig up ancient precursor ruins.
The Vigil secured the gate from the enemy soldiers and opened the seawall to the navy after a heroic battle. The Coaltongue was even in the fleet, showing that it had been repaired after the previous mission.
Just as the group was celebrating, an explosion rocked the fleet. A great, burning figure was leaping from boat to boat, striking with a blazing sword. This figure ran past the heroes and into the fortress in the middle of the island. This was -Asrabey Varal, an ^Eladrin who had survived the &massacre of Reladon by allying with the fey and entering their realm of #Kharmissa.
The group returned to the fortress, and argued Asrabey out of killing the Duchess. Asrabey left, having warned the group. Next, they investigated what the Duchess's group had been digging for. In the ruins, they found an archfey in a prison. The archfey entered there willingly, hundreds of years ago, before the archfey had been bound to House Foxfane with contracts. This means that his particular archfey was outside the system, and couldn't be controlled. The Bloodstone Vigil argued with whether to release or keep the archfey imprisoned, and ultimately decided to leave it contained.
@Sora met a halfling who claimed to be from the #Shadow Archipelago, an area filled with groups who were opposed to the ^Empire. He gave her a token that would identify her as an ally of the island.
